Cheerlebrity Cheerleading Camp LLC is hiring Day camp coaches and Overnight camp coaches for the summer of 2027.

Located on the beautiful campus of Curry College, Milton, Ma., day camp will run weekly Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Overnight camp will run weekly Sun 3:00 pm - Thurs 4:00 pm. Camp dates are Sun, July 4 - Thurs, July 29, 2027.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage camp with the utmost energy and enthusiasm

  • Be timely and/or early daily. All coaches will meet at 8:00 am sharp, rehearse daily “drop-off stunts and tumbling passes,” and be ready for camper drop-off by 8:30 am. Coaches will meet after pick-up, promptly at 4:10 pm for a quick, daily staff wrap-up.

  • Be a team player and role model -Ensure that the group of assigned campers is supervised at all times

  • Provide guidance, motivation, and support to all campers

  • Lead cheerleading classes including, but not limited to, stunting, tumbling, jumps, motions, cheers, chants, dance, choreography, game day/sideline cheers/dances.

  • Maintain a clean image and be able to model exemplary behavior as it relates to sportsmanship, team unity, inclusiveness, and general manners and respectfulness of all people

  • Facilitate and encourage camper participation in all activities

  • Abide by all rules and protocols outlined in the staff handbook

  • Leave any drama OUTside of camp

  • Communicate with program staff and families to ensure successful camper experiences

  • Be willing to learn materials via the internet, and send back said materials in video form, when requested.

  • Bring your ENERGY EVERYDAY! Be your most EXTRA self! Prepare to “Be ON” all day! Don’t be afraid to ACT SILLY ! Lastly, if you are SHY you need NOT apply!

Qualifications:

  • Day Camp Coach 18+

  • Jr Coach 16+

  • Overnight Coach 18+

  • Must agree to a CORI/SORI check

  • Reliable transportation to Milton, Ma., Mon-Thurs.

  • At least 2 years of coaching experience and/or experience supervising/working with children ages 5-17 yrs. 

  • Must be 100% reliable, with exceptional time management skills 

  • Must possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills 

  • Must have an energetic, positive attitude, with the ability to leave anything non-camp related behind. 

  • Must be able to maintain a safe environment for self and others 

  • Must adhere to all protocols and rules outlined in the handbook 

  • At least three years of cheer experience.

All Positions

  • Requires previous experience as an All-Star Cheerleader, and/or previous experience as an All-Star Coach. A solid knowledge of All-Star levels and stunting guidelines for levels 1-5. You must be comfortable demonstrating, speaking breaking down, & teaching stunting techniques. You will also create a group stunt combination, including 1-2 elite stunts, and a pyramid, to counts, for each team. These will be performed each Thurs at the showcase. 

  • You must have a solid knowledge of motions, and game day cheer, including the use of poms, signs, and megaphones. You will create one game day cheer each week, including words, motions, signs, poms & megaphones for each team to perform at the weekly showcase. Each team may use the same cheer, but you must provide different choreography and use of motions, signs, poms & megaphones for each individual team. 

  • Requires choreography and music to 4 All- Star type cheer dances, and 4 Game Day style sideline/pom dances.

    Each All-Star dance should be 4 counts of 8, repeated twice.

  • Requires basic knowledge of STUNT, including how to create, score and judge head to head routines. Categories include partner stunts, jumps, tumbling, pyramids, tosses, and team routines. Will require you to create weekly STUNT routines/games. 

  • Must possess the ability to demonstrate tumbling skills of all levels (1-6), as well as have the ability to confidently and safely teach and spot tumbling ages 5-17. You will create a short tumble routine for each team, to music, to be performed each Thursday at showcase.

  • You must have previous experience as a coed cheerleader at the college or All-Star worlds level. You will be required to teach both boys and girls how to base coed stunting, and you will be required to base those flyers interested in learning and/or improving their coed stunting techniques.

  • You must be a certified RN, with a valid license to practice.
