Cheerlebrity Cheerleading Camp LLC. Is hiring counselors (AKA Coaches), CIT’s (AKA Captains), and specialty instructors for summer of 2025.

Located on the beautiful campus of Curry College, Milton, Ma., this licensed day camp for children ages 7-17 years, will run weekly Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, for six weeks, July 7- Aug 15, 2025. Candidates must arrive at 8:00 and remain at camp until 4:15 pm, or the last camper has been picked up. Candidates must be available for pre-program planning immediately after hire.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage in six week camp schedule with the utmost energy and enthusiasm

  • Be timely and/or early daily. Coaches will arrive at 8:00 am, meet at 8:15 for morning staff meetings, and be ready for camper drop-off by 8:30am. Coaches will meet after pick-up, promptly at 4:10pm for a quick, daily staff wrap-up.

  • Be a team player and role model -Ensure that the group of assigned campers are supervised at all times

  • Provide guidance, motivation and support to all campers

  • Lead cheerleading classes including, but not limited to stunting, tumbling, jumps, motions, cheers, chants, dance, choreography, game day/sideline cheers/dances.

  • Maintain a clean image and be able to model exemplary behavior as it relates to sportsmanship, team unity, inclusiveness, and general manners and respectfulness of all people

  • Facilitate and encourage camper participation in all activities

  • Abide by all rules and protocols outlined in the staff handbook

  • Communicate with program staff and families to ensure successful camper experiences

  • Attend pre-camp season zoom calls (TBD), and in-person training; 3-4 days, 9:00am-4:00pm, in June (dates TBD).

  • Bring your ENERGY EVERYDAY! Be your most EXTRA self! Prepare to “Be ON” all day! Don’t be afraid to ACT SILLY ! Lastly, If you are SHY you need NOT apply!

Qualifications:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 yrs old, valid MA license

  • Must be up-to-date with current CPR certification before July 7, 2025

  • Must agree to a CORI check, Town of Milton, Ma.

  • Reliable transportation to Milton, Ma., Mon-Fri

  • At least one year of coaching experience, and/or experience supervising/working with children ages 7-17 yrs.

  • Must be 100% reliable, with exceptional time management skills

  • Must be free of any prior commitments, and be physically present June-Aug, 2025

  • Must possess strong leadership, communication and organizational skills

  • Must have an energetic, positive attitude, with the ability to leave anything non-camp related behind.

  • Must be able to maintain a safe environment for self and others

  • Must adhere to all protocols and rules outlined in the handbook

  • At least three years of cheer experience.

  • Requires previous experience as an All-Star Cheerleader, and/or previous experience as an All-Star Coach. A solid knowledge of All-Star levels and stunting guidelines for levels 1-5.

  • Spirit Cheer includes those athletes who have no previous cheer experience, those who participate in AYC/Youth programs, Middle School Cheer, High School Cheer, and Competitive School Cheer. Prior experience as a Spirit Cheerleader or coach is preferred. You must have a solid knowledge of motions, and game day cheer, including the use of poms, signs, flags and megaphones.

  • Requires a minimum of 6 All-Star dances, a new dance for each week. Each dance should be 4 counts of 8, repeated twice. You will not be in charge of a bunk. You will teach dance to each bunk throughout the day/week.

  • Requires a minimum of 6 Spirit Cheer dances, a new dance for each week. Each dance should be 4 counts of 8, repeated twice. Also requires a minimum of 6 sideline/pom dances. You will not be in charge of a bunk. You will teach dance to each bunk throughout the day/week.

  • Must possess the ability to demonstrate tumbling skills of all levels, as well as the ability to confidently and safely teach and spot tumbling ages 7-17yrs. You will not be in charge of a bunk. You will instruct tumbling all day/week in the air-conditioned, in-door facility. All proper tumbling equipment will be available to you for use.

  • Must possess the ability to demonstrate stunts and spot cheerleading skills with athleticism, reliability, and confidence. Must possess the knowledge of stunting skills, ages 7-17 within different competency levels, and have a solid understanding of how to coach for each position; flyer, base (side & main), backspot, & front spot. Must be familiar with USASF safety guidelines. You will not be in charge of a bunk. You will instruct stunting all day/week in the air-conditioned, in-door facility. All mats, flyer stands, flexi-bands, etc will be available for your use.

  • You must have previous experience as a coed cheerleader at the college or All-Star worlds level. You will be required to teach both boys and girls how to base coed stunting, and you will be required to based those flyers interested in learning and/or improving their coed stunting techniques. You will not be in charge of a bunk.

  • You must be a certified RN, with a valid license to practice. You will have access to an in-door, air-conditioned office space, and you can also enjoy outdoor activities, stationed outside of your office.
